Our Mission

Empowering individuals and nonprofits to build digital confidence and use technology and AI safely through education and training.

We support individuals, nonprofits, and community organizations by providing education and training that builds digital confidence and safe use of technology and AI. Our programs focus on practical skills that help people complete everyday tasks, improve job readiness, and use digital tools with greater confidence.

Our Leadership

Working Concepts Inc. is led by Stephanie Harris, a dedicated digital literacy advocate and AI educator with over a decade of nonprofit leadership experience.

She brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership and has earned credentials in trustworthy generative AI, prompt engineering, and applied AI training for everyday use.

Her work bridges technology and accessibility, helping seniors, caregivers, and job seekers build confidence in today’s digital world. Stephanie continues to lead hands-on workshops, create original learning tools, and consult with partners who share her belief that AI and digital literacy should be within reach for everyone.

Stephanie Harris’s Perspective on Why This Work Matters

When I had to help manage and sell my late father’s collection of records and valuable, sought after hi fi equipment, I was overwhelmed. My dad was an audiophile who spent more than 60 years collecting music and carefully selected components that reflected his deep appreciation for sound quality and craftsmanship.

He also took great pride in a classic performance car he had carefully maintained over the years.

Each item mattered to him and honoring that legacy felt like a big responsibility.

I did not know where to start. I turned to technology for help not because I was an expert, but because I needed guidance. Little by little, I learned how to identify what he owned, understand its value, write clear descriptions, and communicate confidently and respectfully with potential buyers. What once felt confusing slowly became manageable.

That experience changed how I see digital tools and AI. Used thoughtfully and correctly, they can support people through complex situations and help them make informed decisions.

They are not about shortcuts or replacing judgment. They are about clarity, confidence, and support when it is needed most.

That is why it is important to me to teach people how to use AI responsibly and with intention. It helped me in many ways during a challenging time, and I believe others deserve the same opportunity to learn how these tools can support them in their own lives.

Today, that perspective shapes how I lead. I focus on making technology feel more human, more approachable, and more useful.

I believe that with the right support, anyone can learn to use digital tools to navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
