Our Mission
Our mission is to make technology feel more approachable, understandable, and useful for everyday life through supportive workshops, community learning opportunities, and practical digital literacy education.
We support individuals, nonprofits, and community organizations by providing education and training that builds digital confidence and safe use of technology and AI. Our programs focus on practical skills that help people complete everyday tasks, improve job readiness, and use digital tools with greater confidence.
Why Our Work Matters
Technology continues to change rapidly, and many people feel overwhelmed trying to keep up. Working Concepts Inc. helps communities explore technology and AI in practical, supportive, and responsible ways that build confidence instead of fear.
Our Leadership
Working Concepts Inc. is led by Stephanie Harris, a dedicated digital literacy advocate and community technology educator with over a decade of nonprofit leadership experience.
She has earned credentials in trustworthy generative AI, prompt engineering, and applied AI learning, with a focus on helping individuals and organizations explore technology in practical, approachable, and responsible ways.
Stephanie’s work focuses on building digital confidence through beginner friendly workshops, online safety education, and practical AI learning opportunities for individuals, nonprofits, schools, businesses, and community organizations.
She continues to develop original learning resources, lead hands on workshops, and collaborate with partners who believe technology and AI education should be accessible, supportive, and within reach for everyone.
Stephanie Harris’s Perspective: Why This Work Matters
When I had to help manage and sell my late father’s collection of records, vintage
hi fi equipment, and other carefully collected items, I felt overwhelmed and unsure
where to begin.
I turned to technology and AI tools for guidance, not because I was an expert,
but because I needed help understanding what he owned, organizing information,
communicating with buyers, and making informed decisions during a difficult time.
That experience changed how I see technology and AI.
Used thoughtfully and responsibly, these tools can help people feel more confident,
informed, and supported when navigating unfamiliar situations.
Today, that perspective shapes how I lead Working Concepts Inc. My goal is to
help individuals and communities explore technology in ways that feel practical,
approachable, and useful in everyday life.
I believe digital tools and AI should help people feel empowered, not overwhelmed.
